Under the heading Finding a church or fellowship I said the Church or Christian Fellowship needs to be responsibly moving in the power of the Holy Spirit and able to baptise you in the Holy Spirit when you feel ready.  Now not all Church leaders have received the Baptism of The Holy Spirit, some are still at the stage that the disciples were when Jesus breathed on them.  For one reason or another they are happy to stay where they are, they are saved and heaven bound, but they cannot pray for you to receive that which they do not believe in and have not received themselves.  Here you have two options, firstly as I said previously leave that Church gracefully and find another, or you seek the Baptism of the The Holy Spirit elsewhere and seek to influence the Church that you are still with.  This however may be far more difficult than you at first think as there are some very entrenched opinions and this may prove too much for the young Christian especially if you are unsupported by others.  I would counsel against it.  It has proved too much even for some pastors to move a church or fellowship to the Baptism of The Holy Spirit.

On the other hand there are some Churches or Christian Fellowships who have gone too far and are not responsibly moving in the power of the Holy Spirit.  Ask in prayer for the Lord Jesus to show you which  Church or Christian Fellowship you need to be in.
